How to make 2019 your year.

We have finally entered 2019 and I don't know about you guys but I feel this year is going to be a great one. What I love most about the new year is that it's a new beginning and a great excuse to start all the things you have been wanting to do! Here are a few things that I am doing to help me set off this year in a positive, organized and healthy way.

1. Use a Planner

So I already have tons of things planned out for this year whether it's trips, events, meetings, deadlines, etc. So I need to stay ORGANIZED! I've had planners in the past, but I will use it for a couple of months then forget all about it. So I want to make sure I stay committed and actually keep up with it. This will help me stay stress-free and feel organized.

2. Sign Up for a Fitness Class

This is very cliche, but as I said, the new year is a fresh start so why not use this opportunity to try something you have been wanting to do for months! I personally love soul cycling. I go to Gold's gym and they offer a variety of classes such as Yoga, Zumba, and many more. I finally tried an AWESOME cycling class and the instructor kicked my ass but I felt amazing afterward.  For the past few months, I have just been doing weights and some cardio but it's nice to mix it up sometimes and throw in a workout class.  It gives me a push to work harder and stay motivated.  Use this 'fresh start' to take some of the workout classes you have been wanting to take! Now's the time!

3. Travel More

Traveling is a great opportunity to try new things and experience all that our world has to offer. You don't have to travel abroad and spend a lot of money to experience exciting things.  It can be taking a small weekend trip with your significant other, best friends, or the girls weekend you've been needing. to a different part of your state or getting a super cheap flight from Southwest to go somewhere, you never have thought of before. I live in Austin and sometimes like to take weekend trips to Dallas or Houston. they're both about a 3 hr drive but still, an awesome way to experience new restaurants and bars in a different city. Check out some new places you can travel to this year.

4. Eat More Greens

Eating healthy can be a real hard challenge. Fries and ice cream almost always sounds better than a salad or smoothie. I personally love french fires very much, however this year I want to try to always have "green" on my plate with every meal. Whether it's adding an avocado with my breakfast or a side salad for lunch I want to make sure I'm giving my body all the nutrients it deserves!

5. Take Vitamins!

I have tons of vitamins that I need/want to take in order to feel good and stay healthy. Remembering to take them every day can get challenging when your busy living life. Also knowing what vitamins are best for your body is the most important. Everyone is different and our bodies may need more or less of something than someone else.  This year I've decided to try out the company Care/of. It's a monthly subscription box service that sends you a custom order of vitamins every month based on their questionnaire. I've linked their website, check out their plans! Really excited to try out this service and see how it helps my body as well.

These are just a few of the things I'm trying out for 2019. I just want this year to be filled with love, kindness, adventure, health, & organization! All these little things will set you up for success - I promise!
